The SBS Farms team jumped to top ribbons at the Syracuse PHA Horse Show last week, which benefited the Buffalo Therapeutic Riding Center.
Alexandra Smith was Children’s Hunter, 15-17, champion on BTRC’s Fidele De La Cour and was second in the Children’s Hunter Classic. Alexandra was also reserve champion on BTRC’s Crisp and won the Classic.
Lulu Semple and BTRC’s Hey Sailor were very successful in the Low Children’s Hunters, with two class wins including the under saddle. Lulu also won the PHA Low Children’s Medal.
Christine Ruh had multiple top placings in the Adult Amateur Hunter, 18-35, section. She had a class win on SBS Farm’s Stardust and was third in the Adult Hunter Classic, and she also won the under saddle with BTRC’s Cakewalk and was fourth in the Classic.
Emma Najdzionek had consistent placings in the Children’s Hunter, 15-17, section with Motion Picture, including a win in the under saddle and seventh in the Children’s Hunter Classic.
Equine Coutures’ Stainless and Amanda Calistro made a great return to the show ring with multiple clear rounds in the Low Adult Jumpers, and they placed ninth in the Low Children’s/Adult Jumper Classic.
Ben Hoban had a great week in the 3’3” Amateur-Owner Hunters with his own Montenegro. The pair earned multiple red ribbons and placed seventh in the combined classic.
Caroline Garcia had a fun debut with Cakewalk, including a class win on Saturday.
Greystokes Jamaican Vacation and Phoenix Oppenheimer had top ribbons in the Low Pony Hunters.
Jackson and Emma Walters had consistent rounds in the Baby Green Hunters, with a first over fences and a second in the under saddle. Crisp and Stardust were second and third in a group of 22 in the Low Hunters with Emma Walters aboard.
Intouchable and Randi Byrd were fast and clear in the .95 jumpers and in the 1.0m Jumpers.
