SBS Farms, Inc., continued their super results at the World Equestrian Ocala Winter Spectacular 8, February 24-28 in Ocala, Florida.
Del Piero and Stephanie Brennan earned great ribbons in the Adult Amateur, 18-35, Hunter section, including a third and fifth over fences in a tough field. They also gained some valuable experience around the impressive WEC stadium in the Non Pro 3’ Hunter Derby.
Trainer Emma Walters enjoyed some excellent rounds aboard Del Piero in the NSBA 3’ Hunters, capturing an impressive second place out of 50 in one over fences class and fourth out of 43 in another.
Motion Picture and Emma Najdzionek and Crisp and Alexandra Smith were very competitive in the Children’s Hunter, 15-17, section, sharing blue-ribbon results between them. Crisp won two over fences classes, while Motion Picture took blue in another and topped the under saddle. In addition, both pairs won other ribbons throughout the section for a banner show in a field of 19 entries.
Likewise, Lulu Semple and Hey Sailor competed in a huge division, earning good ribbons in the Intermediate Children’s Hunters after producing several excellent over fences rounds.
Alexandra also spent time in the jumpers with Fidele De La Cour, and they were fast and clear all week in the Novice Children’s section. They also finished up Sunday with a super performance and ribbon in the NSBA Children’s Medal.
Stardust and Emma finished as reserve champions in the NSBA Hunters out of 50 horses, with a win in the first class of the division, a second place over fences and a third under saddle.
Intouchable and Randi Byrd added yet more blue ribbons to their ample collection with a fast and clear in the 1.10m Open Jumpers.
