The SBS Farms team traveled to beautiful Vermont for the Manchester in the Mountains show, held August 5-8 in East Dorset.
The highlights were many and included wins from the Short Stirrup to the Hunter Prix.
Phoenix Oppenheimer and Greystoke’s Jamaican Vacation were reserve champions two days in a row in the Short Stirrup section, with wins in the hunters and equitation.
Reagan Perry and Qualens Bally Wyck were reserve champions in the Crossrails division with a blue ribbon in the under saddle.
Liberty Road and Caroline Garcia had great ribbons in the Children’s Hunters, including a win in the under saddle. Liberty Road also took home first in the Platinum Performance $1,000 Hunter Prix with Emma Walters in the irons.
Hey Sailor and Lulu Semple won their under saddle in the Modified Children’s Hunters. They were also third in the Modified Children’s Hunter Classic and fifth in the Bit o’ Straw Hunter Classic.
Cakewalk and Alexandra Smith along with Emma Najdzionek and Motion Picture had top placings all weekend in the Children’s Hunters.
Stardust and Christine Ruh with Del Piero and Stephanie Brennan both had great trips this week in the Adult Amateur Hunters.
Jackson and Emma Walters won good ribbons in the Baby Green Hunters, and Fidele De La Cour and Randi Byrd were second in a competitive 1.0m jumper class.
