The SBS Farms team traveled from home base in Buffalo, New York, to the Chagrin Valley Farms January Show and returned home with a piles of ribbons, including many blues and tricolors. It was a successful and fun outing from January 16-19 in Chagrin Falls, Ohio.
Amanda Schurr and her own Lunatico Kristal B won the ASPCA Maclay and earned good ribbons in the 3’6” Juniors, also finishing fourth in the Junior Hunter Classic.
Alexandra Smith and Hey Sailor received great ribbons and won a class in the Children’s Hunters.
Ben Hoban and his own Montenegro took second under saddle and great ribbons over fences, with a third in the handy in a very competitive 3’3” Junior Hunter section. Ben also showed BTRC’s Crisp to the reserve championship in the 3’3” Junior Hunters, with great ribbons including the win in the handy!
Alex Trolli’s Del Piero, with Sydney Steffee riding, won two over fences classes and was third in the under saddle for impressive performances during her first time showing in the 3’3” Juniors.
Stephanie Brennan and Copyright had a clean sweep over fences in the Low Adult Hunter section and earned the championship ribbon!
Randi Byrd and Intouchable jumped fast and clear to earn three blue ribbons in their 1.10m jumper classes for a super successful show.
