The 71st annual Buffalo International Horse Show (BIHS) returns to the Buffalo Equestrian Center, home to SBS Farms, Inc. and the Buffalo Therapeutic Riding Center (BTRC), Sept. 13-17!
The BIHS is held each year as a benefit for the BTRC and is a United States Equestrian Federation Heritage competition. This special designation is reserved for horse shows in existence for 25 years or more that have promoted and grown equestrian sport and made contributions to the community outside the gates of the horse show by achieving, maintaining and promoting the equestrian ideals of sportsmanship and competition. The BIHS is fortunate to be one of just 24 horse shows nationwide that holds this illustrious status.
This year's event is dedicated in memory of Dr. John Steele and features the following exciting incentives:
- Baby Green Hunters will have no entry fee. Bring your young ones to the BIHS for their first show experience.
- Junior riders will earn a $25 credit for attending a horsemanship class on Sunday morning.
- Trainers who bring five showing horses will receive one free stall; bring 10 or more and receive two stalls free.
- All showing horses will be included in a drawing for free entries and one free stall on Saturday night (USEF fees not included).
SBS Farms and the BTRC hope to see you at the 2017 BIHS!
