The SBS Farms team is on a hot streak this summer, capturing ribbons across the East Coast. Even with professional rider and trainer Jennifer Alfano out of the saddle after a recent injury, SBS clients have been collecting many tri-colors.
During the first week of the Brandywine Valley Summer Series in Devon, Pennsylvania, Paige Kouimanis and Lexus stole the limelight in the jumper ring winning the $1,500 Marshall & Sterling Children's/Adult Jumper Classic. The pair also took the top spot during the $500 Children's/Adult Jumpers to clinch the championship rosette.
Kathy Chiaf and her own Sweetwater earned the Adult Amateur Hunter, 36 and Over, Reserve Championship during the second week of the Brandywine Valley Summer Series. With the help of Alfano, Chiaf rode to two firsts and a third over fences and earned fourth in the under saddle to seal the tricolor.
The summer continues for SBS Farms, with Alicia Heberle taking a team to the Chagrin Hunter Jumper Classic in Ohio. Alfano will then traverse to Vermont with several top horses and clients for the Vermont Summer Festival Horse Show.
